99.9% of my couples provide the out of town (aka OOT) welcome bags for their guests during their wedding week here in Hawai`i. You can pretty much put whatever you want in the bag, but these are a few of the items that my brides put together:
Welcome bags are really a nice gesture and I am sure all of your guests will appreciate all the time and hard work you put into them.
- bottled water (sometimes with their monogram on them);
- Hawaiian snacks (macadamia nuts or taro chips);
- sunblock;
- chapstick;
- beach towel;
- flip flops;
- visor or baseball cap;
- sun umbrella;
- a map, a guide book and pamphlets of the island that they are getting married on;
- an itinerary of the wedding week;
- a handwritten thank you note
Welcome bags are really a nice gesture and I am sure all of your guests will appreciate all the time and hard work you put into them.
